I already have a blog I called "In Between Columns" at www.inbetweencolumns.wordpress.com where I write views on various topics and issues in between the times I write my columns for Sun.Star Cebu and Superbalita.

So what in the hell is this new blog for?

For starters, I intend to make this into an informal log of my interaction with fellow journalists in and outside Cebu as well as online and offline.

This will also be the venue where I discuss projects I'm involved in and the progress in implementation aside from all the other activities I find fit writing about.

Job Tabada of Cebu Daily News and I also plan to write a book about Cebu media and journalists. Let this blog be an online repository for my notes as well as those that Job will email me. After all, the book's concept involves Job's recollection of the history of Cebu's media especially during the dark days of martial rule.

Finally, I need a blog for things that interest me other than the issues of the day that find its way to "In Between Columns."
